I was sitting on the bus one day when an elderly couple came aboard. I rose to give them space so that they could both sit down. Just as the wife had sat down though the bus started to pull away and the husband, who walked with a cane, started to lose balance and fall. I grabbed his hand, whilst bracing my other hand on a pole and made sure he descended slowly. Within an instant of him touching the floor, everyone in the chairs nearby acted to tell the driver to stop and help the elderly gentleman up. As soon as he was up and comfortably in his seat, I picked up his cane and returned it to him as my stop came up and I departed. - BitOfHope - Your Random Acts Of Kindness And Inspiration!
